We who are safe and comfortable in our low crime communities are blessed...and blind. Even folks in Chicago, the murder capital of the world, feel safe as long as the violence is "down the road a piece". As long as we don't live in the hood what's the worry? Well, the hoods are going to be getting bigger, and more violent. It will be a gradual thing. Democrats will understate the significance of the high numbers of illegal immigrants flowing into certain parts of our communities. Democrats will not speak for our children who fall prey to Latin gangs, drugs, human trafficking. Democrats want their votes...and they really do expect to have their votes. The Main Stream Media is going to downplay this. The Main Stream Media would downplay a huge tidal wave if there wasn't any money in it. We have come to rely on the MSM for information to help us protect ourselves and govern our country. Without that information, which is where we are now, we lose the ability to govern and to avoid mistakes and problems. Our 22 trillion dollar debt and 25+ million illegal immigrants and the mere consideration of providing taxpayer funded universal college education and health care and child care for everyone are examples of issues that are historical landmines for our society and economy. The MSM is on the wrong side of history here. We expect leadership. We get the pied piper leading us blindly over the precipice. As long as it is in slow motion the MSM will be otherwise employed.
